I’m excited for the improvements in our local school system (ECPPS), and was happy to create this graphic to help them show off their incredible successes over the last several years! 🎉
Taking raw data and making it into a visually appealing and easy-to-understand format is one of my favorite challenges as a graphic designer. 🤩
🎉 A BIG day for ECPPS!
Today, we are proud to celebrate the strongest gains in student achievement our district has seen to date. Since 2022, district proficiency has increased 21.1 percentage points, our cohort graduation rate has climbed to 82.9%, 11 schools have increased a letter grade, five schools have moved up two letter grades, and every ECPPS school has increased its achievement score.
These numbers tell a much bigger story. They represent students putting in the work, educators making a difference every day, families supporting our schools, and a community coming together around student success.
We are incredibly proud of how far ECPPS has come, and we know the work continues. Today, though, we celebrate the progress, the people behind it, and the momentum we are building for every student. 💙🧡
