Earlier this week, the Anguleris team spent three days together at our team conference. We reflected on the year so far, aligned on the work ahead, and recognized the people who bring our values to life in how they work every day.

Congratulations to all the winners of the 2026 Pony Awards, one for each of our nine company values, and to this year's Rising Star and Coral Award recipients. Each award reflects commitment, care, and consistency that the whole team sees and values.

Specification decisions happen early, often before a manufacturer is in the room. BIMsmith Detail Shelf addresses that timing problem directly.

Launched in 2022 and built on a patented many-to-many data model, Detail Shelf lets architects and specifiers search, preview, and download construction details as Revit, DWG, or PDF, with direct insertion into active Revit projects via the BIMsmith plugin. This year's expansion added a larger library and faster discovery tools.

For manufacturers, Detail Shelf means visibility at the moment specification decisions are actually made, not reviewed after the fact. It reflects the principle behind our work with 500+ manufacturer partners: presence at the point of decision determines specification outcomes.

Last week, Swatchbox, part of the Anguleris family of brands, was on-site at the IIDA Ohio Kentucky Chapter's ZeroLandfill event in Toledo.

Through its Second Life program, Swatchbox recovers unused architectural and design samples and returns them to circulation instead of the landfill.

It's a small step with an outsized impact: less waste, more value from material that's already been made, and a clearer picture of what responsible sampling can look like at scale. It's the kind of model we're proud to stand behind, and one we plan to bring to more events like this going forward.

We're a team of architects, so we've been on both sides of a sample request: waiting for one to arrive before a client meeting, and receiving one that showed up in a box that didn't survive shipping. That experience shapes how we think about specification.

What a manufacturer offers matters, but so does how easily an AEC professional can actually get it, evaluate it, and put it in front of a client. The sample stage is where a lot of that friction lives, and it's often the part manufacturers pay the least attention to.
