We had a great time hosting the HLB Lighting NYC Young Designers, exploring lighting applications, asking questions, and experiencing firsthand how light shapes a space.

We wrapped up the day with great conversations, new connections, and some friendly competition at Topgolf.

Following our recent AAM session, A Light Touch, a Total Refresh, presented by Madeleine Miller, National Market Leader, Culture, we’re highlighting two projects where lighting upgrades alone delivered outsized results.

At both the Cradle of Aviation Museum and Newport Car Museum, strategic lighting upgrades delivered outsized results, enhancing visual storytelling, improving energy performance, and reshaping how visitors perceive and connect with the collection.

From a dramatic refresh to a more phased transformation, these projects demonstrate how light can quietly, but powerfully elevate the museum experience without major disruption.
