Cybercriminals aren’t always chasing the biggest target.

They’re chasing the easiest one.

Limited defenses, fewer resources and the assumption that “we’re too small to matter” can make small businesses an attractive target.

Don’t make it easy. Schedule a discovery call to see where your biggest security gaps may be.

Your IT team can’t stop every bad click.

Strong cybersecurity comes from a culture where employees know what to watch for, how to respond and when to speak up.

Build a team that knows what to do before a bad click becomes a big problem. Message us to get started.

Better cybersecurity doesn’t always start with a bigger budget. Sometimes, it starts with making better use of what you already have.

A few basics can make a meaningful difference:

• Enable multi-factor authentication wherever it’s available
• Remove inactive accounts for former employees and vendors
• Limit administrator access to those who truly need it
• Turn on automatic updates for devices and key applications
• Use a password manager to reduce weak and reused passwords
• Test your backups to make sure they can be restored when needed

If any of these are missing, they’re a good place to start.

We help businesses identify overlooked gaps, strengthen the basics and build from there. Get in touch to find out how we can bolster your defenses.

The most dangerous phishing scams don’t look dangerous at all. They look like mail you were expecting.

AI is helping cybercriminals craft messages that sound like they came from someone you trust, whether that’s a vendor, colleague or senior leader. The usual red flags are getting harder to spot.

What should your team watch for?

• Emails impersonating trusted contacts or financial institutions
• Urgent payment or sensitive data requests
• Smishing attacks sent through text messages
• Voice cloning that mimics familiar people
• Spear phishing built around real business details

What’s the most convincing phishing attempt you’ve seen?

Myth: “Cybersecurity support is too expensive.”

While cybersecurity is an investment, the cost of being unprepared is much higher.

Downtime, recovery costs, lost revenue and damaged customer trust can quickly outweigh what it takes to put the right protection in place.

The goal isn’t to spend more on security. It’s to invest in the right support for your business and your risks.

What matters most to you when investing in cybersecurity: cost, coverage or peace of mind? Tell us below.

Your data is valuable. Cybercriminals know it, too.

Like cake at a party, valuable data attracts attention. The difference is that hackers don’t wait to be invited.

A breach can lead to financial loss, reputational damage and consequences that last well beyond the initial incident.

Your data is worth protecting before someone else decides what it’s worth. Drop a 🔐 in the comments to schedule a closer look at your defenses.

Don’t let a false sense of security cloud your judgment.

Moving to the cloud doesn’t mean handing off all your security responsibilities. Misconfigured settings, exposed data and unauthorized access can still put your business at risk.

The cloud offers flexibility and convenience, but it needs the right protection.

DM us if you want to go from “in the cloud” to truly secure.

AI is making phishing scams harder to spot. Familiar branding, convincing language and a sense of urgency can make a suspicious message feel believable.

The bait may look different now, but the hook is the same.

Before you click or respond:

• Question unexpected urgency or pressure
• Check the sender and inspect links carefully
• Verify sensitive requests through another trusted channel
• Use multi-factor authentication so a stolen password isn’t enough
• Make sure your team knows what to look for and how to report something suspicious

Want to make sure your team doesn’t take the bait? Drop a 🎣 in the comments to schedule a discovery call.

How much of what you know about cybersecurity is true?

If your strategy is built on assumptions that one tool is enough or that checking compliance boxes means you’re safe, it’s time for a reality check.

Cyber myths are dangerous because they feel reasonable. Don’t let a false sense of security cost you.

What’s the biggest cybersecurity myth you’ve heard? Tell us below in the comments.

Cybercriminals don't need your password.

They just need you to click before you think.

The best defense against phishing isn't a tool. It's a pause.

Message us to find out how to make it second nature across your business.
