was thrilled to be invited to participate in a LinkedIn workshop for LeMoyne College's Erie 21 program as part of their Innovation Academy, a two-week program that provides career readiness with a technology focus.
Renee Dawalga, DUMAC's Talent Acquisition Specialist, worked with students 1:1, to find out about their career aspirations, draw out their amazing talents, and discuss what to include on their LinkedIn Profiles to make the profiles even stronger.
The Erie21 program is an initiative designed to address Syracuse's high poverty and regional employers' workforce needs by seeking employees with software and computer skills. Renee shared, "What a great program! The Students were really great to work with... And they had such great skills to highlight on their profiles. We talked through their experiences to find their transferable skills and talents that they didn't even realize they had!"
