You might start seeing a new face around here a little more often.

Alex is Dean’s daughter, and she’s stepping in to help DCS become even more connected to the Rochester community, from sharing more of what happens inside the shop to meeting local businesses and neighbors at events like the East Rochester Wine Walk.

DCS is a family business, and that means a lot to us. We value building something together, being part of the community we serve, and giving every customer the kind of personal care and attention that’s hard to find with a faceless online printer.

Dean is still the expert behind every project, with decades of production experience. Now, Alex is helping make sure more people know where to find him and know why working with a local, family-run print shop makes such a difference.

So if you see her around town, come say hello. She’ll probably want to hear all about your business, your next event, or the project you’ve been meaning to print.

Schedule Updates for July-August

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer---just letting you know of some upcoming closure dates. I'll be closed:

Fridays: July 31, August 14 and August 28.
For the Labor Day weekend, I'll be closed Friday, September 4 thru Monday, September 7. Opening again Tuesday at 10am.
I'm not planning on any reduction in capacity---I'll be running production later in the evenings if needed to accommodate any turnarounds.

Schedule for July

DCS will be closed for the July 4th holiday starting Saturday, June 27 through Sunday, July 5. During this time, there will be no production or monitoring of emails. I'll be back Monday, July 6 and will address all incoming emails at that time. Pick up will be available during the closure---except July 3-5 for the holiday.

First and Foremost

A while back I was trying to develop a new website that never came to be---the old email address was tied to it. So please update your contact information and I apologize for any inconvenience.

Upcoming Schedule

DCS will be closed Monday, May 26th for Memorial Day and will not be monitoring email, or have production that day.

This year, my July 4th summer shutdown will be Monday, June 29 thru Sunday July 5. I'll re-open Monday, July 6. No email or production during this time.

NEW Customized Products

I continue to add new items to the list of things this new printer can do. The video above shows printing directly onto 4" tiles for one of my artist customers. Besides making fantastic lawn and A-frame signs, this machine is a lot of fun and I wish I had more time with it.
