Grant House Press

Grant House Press Grant House Press is a small, traditional letterpress shop located in rural upstate New York. Grant House Press is located on a small chicken farm.

We use hand-set wood and lead type and graphics to make unique and interesting greeting cards, stationary, notepads, coasters, posters, and journals. Maybe we always wanted to be a big farm - hence the number of farm animals seen in our prints! We love making cards, broadsides, coasters, books, pamphlets - almost any format for pushing ink into paper. We have a shop with 5 different presses - all

manually operated. The best part of letterpress printing is that while a single run of cards or broadsides will be alike, no two will be exactly identical because of the nature of hand printing.
