Anybody got any broken computers or parts from computers for sell?

Is your computer slowing you down? It might be time for an upgrade.

Technology moves fast — and if your computer is more than a few years old, chances are it's holding you back. Here’s why upgrading your computer isn’t just a luxury — it’s a necessity:

Speed & Efficiency: New systems boot up in seconds, run multiple apps without lag, and keep you productive.
Security: Older machines can’t support the latest software updates, leaving you vulnerable to cyber threats.
Compatibility: Many new apps, tools, and websites are designed for modern systems — don’t get left behind!
Energy Efficiency: Newer computers use less power and generate less heat, saving you money and extending hardware life.
Whether you work from home, run a business, or just want a smoother digital experience — investing in a computer upgrade can save you time, frustration, and even money in the long run.

Ready to make the switch? Now’s the perfect time.

⚠️ Quick warning for anyone buying a “high-end gaming PC” online:

A lot of people are throwing some RGB fans and a big CPU cooler on old AM4 builds and trying to sell them for $800–$1000 like it’s some next-gen setup. Don’t fall for the glow.

Just because it looks clean and has lights doesn’t mean it’s worth the price. Ryzen 5 3600, B450 boards, RX 500 series cards — those are solid, but they’re old now and not worth anywhere near what people are asking.

✅ Always check the actual parts.
✅ Look up used market prices.
✅ Don’t pay premium just for aesthetics.

Save your money. Flashy fans don’t boost FPS. 💨

⌨️What Is the CPU? ⌨️

Understanding the Brain of the Computer.
The CPU (Central Processing Unit) is often called the “brain” of the computer—and for good reason. It’s the part that thinks, calculates, and makes decisions every second you’re using your computer.

What Does the CPU Do?

The CPU handles all the instructions from your software and input devices. It decides:
🖱️• What task to do next
🖱️• How to do it
🖱️• How fast it can be done

Example:
When you open a browser or type a document, the CPU processes those commands and sends instructions to other parts of the computer.

Key Terms to Know:

📞1. Clock Speed (GHz)
🖱️• Measures how fast the CPU can process tasks
🖱️• Example: A 3.0 GHz CPU can handle 3 billion cycles per second

📞2. Cores
🖱️• Think of cores as mini-CPUs inside the main chip
🖱️• More cores = better multitasking
🖱️• Common types: Dual-core (2), Quad-core (4), Octa-core (8)

📞3. Threads
🖱️• Virtual versions of cores that help the CPU manage tasks
🖱️• More threads = smoother performance, especially in modern apps

How the CPU Works (Simplified):
🖱️1. Fetch – Gets instructions from memory
🖱️2. Decode – Understands what to do
🖱️3. Execute – Performs the task
🖱️4. Store – Sends the result to memory or display

This cycle repeats millions of times per second.

Where Is the CPU Located?
🖱️• It’s found on the motherboard, usually beneath a cooling fan or heat sink to prevent overheating.

Popular CPU Brands:
🖱️• Intel – Known for Core i3, i5, i7, i9 series
🖱️• AMD – Known for Ryzen 3, 5, 7, and 9

Why Should Beginners Care?

Understanding the CPU helps you:
🖱️• Choose the right computer
🖱️• Know why your PC is fast or slow
🖱️• Understand basic performance features

Quick Tip:
For everyday tasks like browsing, typing, or streaming, a dual-core or quad-core CPU is enough. For gaming or video editing, go for higher cores and speeds. 🖨️☎️
