Coming this week! Trees hide a lot of camps. Our Bare-earth terrain layer shows the ground with the forest stripped away, built from airborne laser scans, so old two-tracks and flat pull-outs show up under the canopy. Most of the forests we cover are mapped at about 1 meter, sharp enough to spot a pad. Where the public data was blurry, mostly western Oregon and the North Kaibab, we rebuilt about 2,800 square miles ourselves from state and USGS ground data, some of it straight from the raw laser points. All users will get LiDAR card previews. Pioneer users will have the entire LiDAR layer in their map
