Jerry Alexander, 75, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born August 11, 1950, he was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Clifton and Geraldine (Spencer) Alexander.

Jerry was a devoted member of The Way Pentecostal Church and truly loved the Lord. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles, and he especially treasured spending time with his grandsons. Whether playing with them or participating in Boy Scout activities, Jerry was actively involved in their lives and created many cherished memories. His faith, love for family, and enjoyment of the outdoors were defining parts of his life.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2026 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Brent Rashall with interment to follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Colton Bradford, Clint Alexander, Daniel Rose, David Hollingsworth, Matt Quinn and Manuel Quinn will serve as pallbearers.

He is survived by wife of 49 years, Tanya Alexander; his daughter, Brooke Austin (Adam) of Dyersburg; his son, Jerry “Clint” Alexander (Mattie Davenport) of Cullowhee, NC; his brother, Ray Alexander of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Colton Bradford, Rowan Austin; his niece, Jina Bridges (Brian) of Halls; and his step-mother, Jean Alexander of Indiana.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Anthony Alexander.

The family requests memorials be directed to The Way Pentecostal Church, 857 Hwy. 51 By-Pass, Dyersburg, TN 38024.

David Lee Bryson, 60, died Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Finley. He was born April 16, 1966, to the late Joe Thomas and Norma Nell Reynolds Bryson. He was self-employed as a dry waller.

He is survived by his son, Justin Bryson of Dyersburg; two sisters, Dolly Walton of Finley, Michelle Sanderson of Dyersburg; and two brothers, Gene Bryson and Shawn Delosh (Kim), both of Finley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Bryson.

Joe Davis, 74, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born October 21,1951 in Dyersburg, he is the son of the late Elwood Desoto and Annie Geneva Spencer Davis. He was a former factory worker and correctional officer.



He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly “Kim” Michelle Davis.



He was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Davis.

Robyn Hinkle Taylor, 41, of Milan, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Memphis after a courageous year-long battle with illness. She passed peacefully, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born August 19, 1984, in Joplin, Missouri, Robyn was the daughter of Sue Roberson and Robert Hinkle. She traveled with the New Life Drama Company, sharing her faith in Christ and later worked in her family business, Sonic Drive-In.

Robyn welcomed two beautiful daughters – Anzley and Leighton. Robyn and Anzley represented the March of Dimes with their incredible story of Anzley’s birth. Leighton’s birth completed their family with the same energy and s***k that Robyn displayed as a child. In her girls, her spirit lives on.

Robyn was many things to many people: a daughter, sister, mother, friend, and faithful believer. She sang with a voice that could stir the deepest emotions and possessed a quick wit that remained intact even through the most difficult days of her illness. She was unapologetically honest, unfiltered in the best sense of the word, and fiercely compassionate toward those who felt overlooked or left behind. Strong, resilient, and unwavering in her faith, Robyn faced every challenge with courage and the assurance that Jesus walked beside her. Her life stands as a testament to God’s steadfast love and faithfulness. Robyn has “fought the good fight, finished the race, kept the faith,” and the family encourages guests to celebrate Robyn by wearing colors rather than traditional black.

Robyn was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Beryl Roberson, Francis and Rosalie Hinkle, Shirley and Jack DeWitt.

In addition to her parents, Robyn is survived by her daughters, Anzley Taylor and Leighton Gallimore, both of Milan; her sister, Kari Luckey (Will); her nephews, Jack Romero and Gabe Romero; and her nieces, Kate Romero and Ava Luckey, all of Dyersburg, her step-fathers Joe Brown and John Hess, fathers of her children Don Taylor and Michael Gallimore and dear friend Johnathan Crowe. She is also survived by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends across Tennessee, Arkansas, Kansas, Indiana, California, and Switzerland, all of whom loved her deeply and will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held Monday at First Assembly of God in Milan beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.

Graveside services will follow in Dyersburg at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery, with Reverend Donny Travis and Apostle Barry Chaney officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Hinkle, Jack Romero, Gabriel Romero, Mark Roberson, Don Taylor, Johnathon Crowe, T.J. Williams, and Eddie Shults.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the National Scleroderma Foundation, 55 Ferncroft Road, Danvers, Massachusetts 01923.

Robyn Taylor, 41, of Milan, died Wednesday, May 27th at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Monday, June 1, 2026 at the First Assembly of God in Milan, TN. A memorial service will follow at the church at 11:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. The full obituary will be posted when available.
