Just letting everyone know that I will be open the normal hours for at least the next two weeks. Finding a place to put stuff is hard nowadays. I am securing place and also looking for alternatives to my business. I am still having that store wide sale of 25% off everything so if there is something you are wanting better get in here really quick. Love all of you that know me and help the store when you can. I am blessed.

With a heavy heart and a troubled mind I am having to close the the store. I have been made out to be a drug lord selling drugs from the store, I have received veiled threats from the land lords talking piece and I have been the target of slander and just plain bad mouthing. my store has sustained damages that the land lord refuses to address and says that I am the reason that the bare wires are sticking out of the walls (which I am not), I have also been accused of other things that, in my opinion (losing my mind or as she put it, lost it) is the wrong to say to someone with PTSD. The economy has taken a downturn and my store is just another casualty of the current administrations war on the USA. I am selling everything in the store from the showcases to the ice cream vending machine the game room. I am selling all merchandise in the store at 25% off until the day I am gone , which will be very soon. Then the sale is off of course. 🥺

I come to each of you with my heart in my hands. I am asking for anything, absolutely anything that can be given monetarily to the store. This is not for me but for the stores survival.

POKEMON Dragons Hoard now has the Astral Radiance Elite Trainer Boxes, the Astral Radiance booster packs, the Kleavor Premium Collection boxes. We also go some booster boxes of Brilliant Stars.We only have a few because of the problem with UPS but I want everyone that wants some to get in here and pick yours up. Open till 8pm Tonight and dont forget, BOARD GAME day is today.

Well once again UPS has made me very sad and actually very angry, in an attempt to make people use express and air services they have made it a personal quest to "RETAIN" everyone's packages so that it takes longer to recieve the packages. My small business relies on this shipping and UPS has cost me a serious arm and a leg today. I was supposed to recieve merchandise to be sold this weekend. Pokemon and MTG product. I was told repeatably by the "overseas" branch of UPS that it could still arrive by 7pm. Here it is almost 9pm and nothing, I was also told 2 hours ago that I would be contacted by someone from the HUB but you can see how that is going. Small stores are on a shoestring budget and I beg all that read this to NOT USE UPS, ever again. I have learned a very valuable lesson. I refuse to use a service that does not put the customer before profits.

Greetings again from on top of the Hoard. I have been informed that other games stores are running modern as their game day format.......I have some news that some might find totally enlightening.

This is directly copied from the WPN website and has not been doctored in any way.

Game Day Promos: Participation, Top 8, Winners
The Promos coming with Game Day this season feature a returning frame that will be familiar to your long-time fans of the event.

Additionally, the winner Promo, All-Seeing Arbiter, is a new mythic rare card from the Streets of New Capenna set—show off the cards and iconic frame treatment as you market your event to generate more excitement among your community.

You'll receive three types of Promos in your Game Day kit: for participation, each of your Top 8 players, and one for the winner.

Participation Promo: Power Word Kill

Top 8 Promo: Skyclave Apparition

First Place Promo: All-Seeing Arbiter
Remember, the amount of participation Promos you receive will depend on your community size, and you'll receive eight Top 8 Promos and one First Place Promo.

Game Day Formats
You can host Game Day using the following formats:

Draft

Sealed

Standard

Two-Player Brawl
Remember, you can only run Booster Draft or Sealed events if you use Streets of New Capenna Draft Boosters for the event. Game Day is run using Swiss rounds that cut to a top 8.

I really hate to be a downer when it comes to the game but ANY game day tournament has to formatted as stated above.

My format for Dragons Hoard here in Dunnellon is Draft. I know most players want Modern and I sympathize but I can not or will not break the rules of WOTC when it comes to tournaments. In accordance with WOTC:
1) You cannot use promo's for anything else besides the game day event, which is Draft, sealed, standard or 2 man brawl until after the event.
2) If you go against these rules then you have the chance of being pulled from the WPN finder site and refused any WOTC merchandise and all promo support will be immediately stopped.
3) Game Day is set up to highlight the set that has just been released and therefore the formats stated.
4) Promo's for game day, if used for any tournament can be cause for the offending store to be pulled from the WPN finder site etc etc etc, yadda yadda yadda.

So you see why the format for this game day is draft, 2 man brawl or even standard would be good.

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but WPN is a tough customer and I don't want to go against them.
