A new AI tool will not give you a usable assistant if nobody defined the job first.
It is a common sequence. A subscription gets bought, a few people try it, it works well in a demo, and three months later it sits unused while the real work still happens the old way.
The tool was rarely the problem. The missing piece was definition: what the assistant is for, what it is allowed to touch, and who is accountable for its output.
Tools are easy to buy. Definition is the part that takes a decision.
Have you seen this pattern in your own business, or with a client?
