This weekend will have member refreshers, instructor courses, and practice time before the official season start on Monday.
As documented on our social media channels, a lot of work was done during the offseason to get to this point.
We're given a lot of flowers to the ice crew, but they've literally been working around the clock to make sure everything was ready for October. Without them, there is no curling.
Our tech team encountered a lot of issues in their setup, which led to a bunch of emails, purchases, and expletives. Fortunately, most of them have been resolved.
There's also the large amount of volunteers who came to the club to work on everything from the rocks to banners.
It's been an interesting offseason, but we're ready.
