This is a contract remote, part-time position with overall responsibilities of our people-facing daily business operations.
The Operations Manager reports to the company CEO and coordinates a team of ambassadors and a userbase of influencers and small business owners.
The OM provides development, coordination and oversight of:
1. Superior team and client service protocols, maintaining professional relationships with team members, influencers and hometown brands, with a commitment to quality service
2. Human Resources responsibilities, including hiring, training, disciplining, terminating, and compliance
3. Developing and documenting standard operating procedures for our ambassador, influencer, and and hometown brand programs
4. Ongoing technology maintenance, training and database management
5. Filing, record-keeping and operational aspects as they impact business operations
Other skills:
6. Self-directed professional with at least 5 years of small business/tech/startup operations experience
7. Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff
8. Strong organizational abilities, including planning, delegating and business processes
9. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet all deadlines
10. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
12. Passion for supporting small businesses around the U.S.
Salary: $25/hour, 10 hours per week
