This is such an odd tree. Right now, these flowers are blooming on it. . Later on this year, all of the flowers fall off and are replaced with around 5-inch long seed pods.
The flowers are very beautiful looking.

I've read that some Native Americans used/use the pods and/or seeds, and smoking it might give you hallucinations. That has not been verified . I'm not going to try it though. Haha.

The flowers in the images are Oriental Lilies, likely the popular 'Stargazer' cultivar or a very similar variety such as 'Sunny Robyn'. Hope everybody has a great weekend!!
