I see business owners changing their branding every year. New colors, new fonts, new logo, new website.
And I get it. You’re looking at it every day. You see something inspiring and suddenly your own brand feels a little… stale.
But your audience isn’t looking at your business nearly as often as you are.
While you’re ready for something new, they might just be starting to recognize you.
That familiarity has value. The colors they associate with you. The style that makes them stop scrolling. The website they remember visiting when they were thinking about hiring you.
When you constantly change those cues, you can chip away at the recognition you’ve been building.
The same goes for your website. Returning visitors shouldn’t have to relearn where everything lives every time they come back. And bigger changes—like changing page URLs without proper redirects—can create SEO problems, too.
There are good reasons to rebrand or redesign: your business has evolved, your audience has shifted, or your website isn’t supporting what you need it to do.
But “I’m bored with it” deserves a pause.
Before starting over, ask yourself: Is this actually no longer serving my business, or have I just seen it more than everyone else?
Build a brand you can grow with. Then give people time to know it.
