There are “workshops,” and then there are WORKshops. We’re proud to say that when you come to level up your DIY design at YellowDog, we’re going to get our hands dirty and provide takeaways that will make an impact.

We had a great time hosting Design Level-Up with Good Business Colorado in September. We didn’t just look at pretty pictures or stand in judgement. We shared tips, tricks, and specifics to level up DIY design right away.

Thanks to everyone who came out and took a risk sharing their work with a room full of strangers who left as collaborators. There’s nothing like creating in community!

If this question feels like a personal attack… you’re not alone. It’s a learning curve for everyone, and even the most experienced designers forget about bleed when they’re under the gun.

No, it’s not the end of the world. Yes, it’s totally fixable AND worth fixing.

We broke down everything you’ve ever wanted to know about bleed but were too afraid to ask in our latest blog post. So next time we ask if your print-ready art has bleed, you can shoot back a calm, cool and collected: Yup! My art’s extended beyond the print area by at least .125” on all sides.
