Planning a new business sign in Denver? Don’t wait until the last minute.
Many permanent exterior signs—including storefront signs, illuminated signs, building-mounted signs, projecting signs, and monument signs—may require permits. Denver sign permits can take six weeks or longer, so it’s smart to begin the signage process 8–10 weeks before your opening date.
Our guide explains what business owners should know about sign permits, design approvals, landlord requirements, fabrication timelines, installation, and avoiding costly delays.
Whether you’re opening a restaurant, retail store, office, medical practice, or apartment community, Mtn High Signs + Design can help move your project from concept to installation.

A custom metal plaque can do more than display information—it can create a lasting sense of recognition, professionalism, and place.
Our latest guide, “Custom Metal Plaques for Denver Businesses: Materials, Mounting, and Design Details,” explains how businesses and organizations can choose the right metal, finish, size, mounting method, and installation approach for their project.
Custom plaques are ideal for building identification, donor recognition, dedication and memorial signage, lobby branding, office and tenant identification, historical markers, garden and campus signage, and multifamily properties.
From classic bronze and polished brass to lightweight aluminum and modern stainless steel, the best material depends on your location, brand, budget, maintenance expectations, and exposure to Colorado weather.
Mtn High Signs + Design can help you create a plaque that is readable, durable, professionally mounted, and designed to fit your building and brand.

A monument sign is often the first thing customers, tenants, visitors, and drivers see when they arrive at a property. It should do more than identify the location—it should create a strong first impression and make the property easier to find.
Our guide, “Monument Signs for Denver Businesses: Visibility, Materials, Permits, and Placement,” explains how to plan a monument sign around driver visibility, site conditions, materials, lighting, power access, zoning, permits, and long-term maintenance.
Monument signs are an effective solution for medical offices, retail centers, office parks, apartment communities, churches, schools, industrial properties, and businesses that need more visibility than a wall sign can provide.
Mtn High Signs + Design helps Denver-area businesses and organizations create monument signs that fit the property, reflect the brand, withstand Colorado weather, and work in real-world installation conditions.

Project Spotlight: Judi Health

We loved bringing the Judi Health brand to life throughout their space.

For this project we managed the entire process creating a cohesive look across the reception and interior spaces.

The goal was to carry the branding through the space in a way that felt consistent without overpowering the interior.

Your office signage is often the first branded experience a client, patient, tenant, partner, or employee has inside your space.
Our guide, “Interior Office Signs That Strengthen Brand Experience,” explains how the right lobby sign, suite identification, ADA signage, room signs, directional signs, wall graphics, and dimensional branding can make your office feel more professional, intentional, and easy to navigate.
The best office signage is designed around more than a logo. Wall color, lighting, viewing distance, furniture, wall finishes, materials, and the overall character of your space all affect how a sign looks and performs.
Whether you’re opening a Denver office, updating a lobby, rebranding a suite, or replacing outdated signs, Mtn High Signs + Design can help create a cohesive interior signage system from design and fabrication through installation.

Give your walls some dimension.

Flat graphics have their place, but dimensional acrylic signage brings depth, shadow, and a strong physical presence to your branding.

Whether it's your company logo, letters, reception signage, or a branded feature wall, acrylic can be cut and finished to create a look that feels sharp and intentional.

Mtn High Sign + Design handles the process from design and fabrication through to installation.

Have a blank wall that could be working harder for your brand? We can help with that!
