🔁 Every route in a continuity plan needs a defined failure path. Without one, a single destination that doesn't answer is the point where the plan stops working.
Failover Forwarding gives each of your numbers a backup. When the primary destination doesn't pick up (an office closed, a line down, a queue unreachable) the call moves to the next destination in your list, then the next, until someone answers.
You set the order and the conditions in the control panel, and the caller hears none of it. It works across PSTN numbers and SIP accounts, including PSTN to SIP.
One gap catches most teams: a day or time your forwarding rules don't cover sends the call to voicemail if voicemail is enabled, and rejects it outright if it isn't. Add a catch-all rule and that hole closes.
