raises price by $8, now $73/month.

This is obviously very disappointing news for many of my clients, but somewhat inevitable as they vie for top dog in the cable replacement streaming arena and continue to expand their channel lineup and sports offerings.

On the bright side, they simultaneously reduced the cost of the 4k upgrade from $20 to $10, so the total price difference is somewhat negligible if you've gotta have the best picture quality possible.

Even at $73 (plus internet service), most of my clients are saving around $80-$100 per month compared to traditional cable bundles in the Daytona area. But this price hike could cause more than a couple of them to explore Hulu Live or other, less costly, competition.

Troubleshooting this custom gaming rig (that another company failed to properly install the liquid cooler for, and never came back to fix) was a bit different than the typical issues most of my clients need help with.

It was a bit of a throwback to when I used to build and test small form factor industrial computers as a Product Manager for OnLogic (which is an amazing company with some incredibly smart and talented people - definitely check them out!), and so much fun working with this mom and son team who took on a very ambitious build for their first attempt!

Sadly, I did not think to take any pictures of such a visually impressive computer to share with you.
