Ever wonder about the 555 prefix for fictional numbers to prevent genuine numbers from being accidentally used. In the 1980s a cartoon, depicting Satan's number as 555-1332, was reprinted in Australia, where 555 is a genuine area code. After a deluge of prank calls, the owner of the number sued the cartoonist and his syndicate for harassment.
