If you find yourself with a broken in the Evergreen State, you’re definitely going to be in need of some extra help. Seattle is probably the least navigation-friendly city on the west coast without the help of your maps app. On top of that, the likelihood that your cracked screen gets rained on (and put in extra danger) is astronomically high. And that’s if your phone isn’t already water damaged to begin with. Don’t waste your time with poor quality repair jobs in this state when there are so many good options out there. We’ve rounded up a list of the best phone repair companies in WA for when you need them most.

The Fix
The Pacific Northwest is the land of friendly people and even friendlier customer service. This has never been truer than at The Fix, where the professional technicians are also the smiling faces that you see when you walk through the front door. You’ll never know how much a kind word can do to lift a person’s day until you’re on the receiving end of it when you’re stressed out and anxious. Beyond their great customer service, you’ll find experts in phone repair that really know how to diagnose a problem and make it right again. Plus, they’ll do it so quickly that you’ll be on your way with a newly intact phone before you even know it.

My Broken Phone
If you’re in the very southern part of Washington (alright, let’s just call it what is it — a suburb of Portland, OR) then you might try hitting up My Broken Phone. They’ve got a pretty narrow range of phones that they fix, but what they do they do well. They’ll also buy your old phones if you’re interested in saying goodbye to your older model instead of doing a trade in. Their brand is pretty darn cute, too, with the emojis.

Amigo Cell Phone Repair
Do you or a family member or friend need cell phone repairs in Washington that’s bilingual (Spanish)? This place might be right up your alley. It can be difficult trying to get across exactly what happened with a broken phone if there’s a bit of a language barrier. You can feel more confident that you understand the price quotes and that the technician understands what went wrong if you’re working with Spanish-speaking techs as a Spanish spea

Companies in

If you live in New York, you already know how precious your time is. The last thing you need is to waste it on finding the right place to get your phone repaired. You want the best service, and you want it fast. There’s no shame in having high expectations. We’ve rounded up a few of the best phone repair companies in NY that’ll get you back to your regular life in no time.

The Fix
When you think of fast, expert repairs, you think of The Fix without a doubt. And you might not have come to expect it in New York, but the customer service can’t be beaten. Plus, you don’t have to pay a huge price tag for a smile or fast repairs, either. If you’re lucky enough to be near one when your phone disaster strikes, check them out.

King Wireless NYC
Need help with a water damaged phone? Cracked screen? King wireless may be able to help you out. They’ve got a location on Canal Street for people looking for repairs in their area. Keep in mind that if your phone isn’t working, you might not be able to get directions!

I Repair Cracked Screens
If that’s not the most straightforward name for a business, we don’t know what is. This is one of those mobile people who will come to your home to fix your broken phone here in NY. The downside, of course, is potentially a lack of safety. As with anything, make sure you let someone know that you have a repair person coming over and tell them once the person has left. Even better, meet somewhere more public than your apartment. The convenience could be nice, but there’s no way to know before they show up how they’ll act. They’re also not exactly licensed like a plumber or electrician would be.

NYC iRepair
If you’re looking for an older phone repair shop, this place could work out well. They’ve been there for ten years, fixing broken screens and repairing broken phones. Their services and pricing are straightforward. At the very least, they make it easy to compare prices with competitors to see who comes out on top — or on the bottom, as it were. It’s nice knowing going in what you’ll likely be paying. As long as they’re upfront about the different types of damage your phone might have sustained in a fall,

Finding Near Me

If you’ve just your screen, the first thing on your mind is going to be how to fix it. Finding the right phone repair option near you can be a little tricky. After all, you might use your smartphone as your main way of searching online. Here are a few tips for keeping your phone in working order.

The Partial Break
Oftentimes, a cracked screen doesn’t totally bust a phone. If you can still use it, now’s the time to start Googling. First and foremost, make sure you can get yourself home! While a fixed phone is important, it’s not as vital as your own safety. If your phone is the only way you can access the internet, even voice commands can help in this scenario. You can just shout at Siri a bit, with useful phrases like ‘phone repair near me.’ If you can type on the screen, just be careful of jagged bits of the broken screen. Don’t make things worse by bleeding all over the thing.

The Favor
If your phone’s screen is blank as well as busted, it might be time to call in some favors. Figurative, that is. A local library is an easy place to use a computer, but there are other options too. Try calling a friend from a business’s phone and get them to do a search for you. Obviously, if you have other ways to get online and you can get home, you can probably wait it out.

Be Prepared
You’re likely going to have to answer some questions to find the right phone repair place near you. What kind of phone do you have? How old is it? How did it break? Was there any water damage? Just make sure you have all of that ready to go so that you’re able to find the right place quickly. Oh, and don’t be afraid to ask for directions! Now that you’re phone-less, are you able to find your way around the city? If not, ask for the repair shop or a friend to help you find the way. If you can, look up directions on your computer before you leave the house.

Speed Is Key
When you’re looking for the right phone repair shop near you, keep in mind that you’ll need someone who can get the job done quickly. It’s unfortunately frustrating to go without calls, texts and other forms of communication that are smartphone-only.

To Do If Your Is ?
If you’re anything like the millions of Americans who own a smartphone, breaking the screen can cause a bit of a panic. What do you do now? How can you survive the day? Where are you going to get a ride home without your Lyft app? Beyond these basic daily needs, there are a few important steps post-screen-cracking.

Back It Up
If you can still use your phone at all, back up important information. While the cracked screen may be the only visible damage, it’s hard to say what’s going on inside. Smartphones are made better and stronger these days, but that’s no reason to get lazy. Pull important contact information that you might need off of it immediately, too. You’ve likely only memorized a handful of phone numbers, after all!

Beyond that, make sure you have the ability to make any calls you need to. Anyone (like a partner or friend) who expects you to respond to text messages might need to get a call from you explaining your radio silence. You might need to hop into a local business to use their phone — do payphones even exist anymore?

Look Up Repair Options
It’s often the case that accidents like these aren’t covered under warranties or other protections. Either you’re out of the warranty period, or the way you broke the screen isn’t covered. Pull out the laptop and start searching for options. A good repair shop should be able to fix a broken screen quickly, inexpensively and expertly. After all, it’s not like you can drag your laptop around with you anytime you need directions. And who even owns a printer these days? So yes, fast phone screen repairs are most definitely important here.

Prevention Is Key
Alright, so you’ve had your phone screen replaced, hallelujah. Now’s the time to make sure this can’t happen again! Get a phone case if you don’t already have one. Upgrade your case if you do. Grab a screen protector. Consider attaching the thing to you with superglue. Okay, so maybe that last one is a bit overkill. But seriously, you may need to look at how you use and hold your phone to try to prevent a cracked screen again.
