Nice location with a great view but a lot of sun and a lot of white walls, yikes. This second floor of a garage barn is way to bright for a projector and screen but with the help of 3% Lutron shades we can make it almost dark enough during a suunny day. The acoustics are not ideal either, all hard reflective surfaces. The biggest expense was the motorized screen and I went with a anti light reflection .8 slate from screen innovations. The projector is the least expensive I’ve ever installed, under $2k, half the cost of the screen. Hoping someday they’ll spring for a native 4k sony. No automation processor or universal remote, just a single roku remote controls the whole thing less the shades. No cable box or dvd just streaming, the roku remote turns on the projector which triggers the screen and turns on the AVR, the roku controls the AVR volume and the AVR settings are pretty much just automatic. Considering all the crap we used to install to automate all this stuff in the past and the thousands of $$$ that automation equipment and programming would cost this is so simple, so inexpensive with so few things to go wrong.

Shots from the Friday the 13th House. Maybe the 3rd movie filmed some of the shots on this property back when there were small cabins there. They were demolished and this house built. The interior plumbing is very ship like.

It's not the greatest look but.... Pulled out the AutoPatch matrix switchers, kept the Sonance digital amps and added HEOS. I find them more stable for an enterprise network than Sonos devices.
