Revenue is up and average gift is climbing, but fewer people are giving than last year.

That tension is the story of 2026 fundraising, and it should be shaping every decision you make between now and December 31.

Most teams know how to raise more dollars. The harder question is where the untapped opportunity sits inside the data you already have, before year-end is in the rearview mirror.

On October 15 at noon CT, our VP of Marketing Nathan Hill will be joined by Amy Carroll from Wiland for a live session: "Your Year-End Playbook: Finding Hidden Opportunities in Your Own Data Using an AI-Assist."

They'll walk through what last year's year-end results can actually tell you about this year's strategy, and how to ask the right questions of your own data to surface personalized insights you can act on now.

The winner of our $1,000 donation giveaway at NextAfter's NIO Summit is Partnership With Native Americans (PWNA), entered by Sampson Dewey.

Since 1990, PWNA has been one of the largest Native-led, Native-serving nonprofits in the country.

In 2025 alone, they partnered with 379 Tribal Program Partners across 46 reservations, delivering everything from food, water, and winter fuel for Elders to scholarships, emergency preparedness training, and food sovereignty programs.

Their approach pairs immediate relief with long-term, community-led solutions, so families can build stability on their own terms.

Sampson, thank you for entering and for putting PWNA's work in front of us! We're honored to support the mission, and grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth at NIO Summit.

We're excited to announce that Bradley Martin has joined Avid as Vice President of Growth!

Bradley has spent the last decade in nonprofit technology, with sales and marketing leadership roles at Kindful, Bloomerang, and Feathr.

In that time, he's watched the fundraiser's job get more complicated: more data, more tools, more expectations, and not always a clearer sense of what to do next.

That's the problem Avid was built to solve. Bradley will focus on expanding our go-to-market strategy so more fundraising teams can understand their donors, spot opportunities, and take action.

Welcome to the team, Bradley!

What if your next campaign segment included the people most likely to give?

Treasure Coast Food Bank used Avid’s propensity model to identify donors who looked like past summer-match donors, but hadn’t given to the campaign before.

The result: 103% higher conversion and 88% higher average gift

Same campaign, emails, and donation page.
The difference was who they asked.

Year-end giving season is when segmentation either saves you or buries you.

You've got to put together the right lists of the right donors with the right message, over and over, for weeks.

On September 17, Karina Rodriguez and Nathan Hill are going live to share 7 segments worth your focus this year-end season, plus how to build them faster with an AI assist.

Year-end fundraising is more complex than it used to be. More channels, more data, more coordination between online and offline touchpoints, more personalization expected by donors.

That complexity means the teams who start planning now, backed by real data instead of guesswork, are the ones who come out ahead.

This Thursday, our VP of Fundraising Strategy, Karina Rodriguez, and VP of Marketing, Nathan Hill, are hosting a live session on the biggest fundraising trends we're seeing this year and what they mean for your year-end strategy.

You'll walk away with a clearer picture of where things stand and some practical ways to simplify your planning before the year-end crunch hits.

Today we're celebrating the people who show up for missions no matter what.

The fundraisers building relationships one conversation at a time. The ops teams keeping everything running behind the scenes. The volunteers giving their time because they believe in the work. And the donors who make all of it possible.

Happy National Nonprofit Day to everyone doing the real work! You were made for the mission. We're just glad to be part of the rest.

October is too late to start your year-end plan.

Nonprofit teams that see the best year-end results aren't scrambling for data in the fall. They're looking at it now.

On August 20, join Karina Rodriguez and Nathan Hill for a live look at how fundraising has actually performed through the first half of 2026, backed by real-time benchmark data from 1,000+ nonprofits.

You'll walk away knowing:
- What's shifted in fundraising performance this year
- How it compares to Giving USA's latest findings
- What it means for your year-end strategy
- Practical ways to apply it before the year-end crunch hits
