We never properly introduced this one 👀💜✨

Earlier this summer, we launched a fresh new website for Salon 730, a downtown Fredericksburg salon built around expert artistry and an experience that feels genuinely human.

The goal was to create a digital experience that feels just as welcoming as walking through their doors, while making it easy for clients to explore services, meet the team, find the right stylist, and book with confidence.

We loved bringing the Salon 730 experience to life online. 🤍

Take a look at the new site at salon730.com.

A little belated, but no less worth celebrating! 🥳
Happy birthday to our incredible Executive Assistant, Amber!

Amber’s impeccable attention to detail and ability to keep all the little things from slipping through the cracks make such a difference to our team every day. We’re so grateful for all she brings to Stratifi Creative and hope this next year is a great one! 🤍

Help us wish Amber a very happy (belated) birthday! 🎂

AI feels like an endless stream of new tools and impressive demos.

A new “must-have” every week. Unfamiliar terms. Case studies that don’t look anything like your business. And a lot of noise about what you should be doing next.

The Map is a live, no-hype session designed to help you catch up on the AI landscape without chasing every new tool.

We’ll talk about what people actually mean when they talk about AI, the different ways it can become part of your work, and how to recognize what’s genuinely useful for your business, and what isn’t.

You’ll leave with a working mental model for where AI fits into your business.

A map, not another list of tools.

As an introvert, walking into a room full of new people isn’t exactly my comfort zone. 😅

But the Power Players event made networking feel surprisingly natural. Based on our RSVPs, each guest received a tag with specific women to meet, giving us a purpose beyond awkwardly hovering near the snack table.

With Ava Teresa as my guest, we found the women on our lists, helped others find theirs, and made connections we may not have made otherwise.

It was such an intentional way to bring together women building businesses, serving others, and making an impact across Fredericksburg, Stafford, and Spotsylvania.

Thank you, Dori Stewart | Community Connector in FXBG with Fredericksburg Neighbors, for creating an event that not only put the right women in the room, but helped us find one another. ✨

Turns out, networking is much less intimidating when there’s a strategy behind it. 😉

When I heard about the mission behind Millie’s Home, I knew I needed to be in the room, not only as a business owner and leader, but as a foster mom.

I attended Steeped in Resilience, a beautiful afternoon tea hosted by the Virginia Saunders Society, where we heard from Sarah Dunford, founder of Millie’s Home, the first maternity home in Hanover County serving women experiencing homelessness.

As a foster mom to two young children, ages four and two, this mission is deeply personal. By providing stable housing, emotional support, professional development, and practical parenting skills, Millie’s Home has the potential to change the trajectory of an entire family. The right support can help a mother safely care for her child and may prevent that child from ever entering foster care.

Thank you to the Virginia Saunders Society for bringing women together to celebrate resilience, leadership, and service while supporting such an important mission. I’m grateful for the organizations stepping into this need with compassion, dignity, and practical care. 🤍

“What’s the ROI of branding?”

It’s a fair question, but it might be the wrong way to think about branding.

Too often, we lump branding and marketing into the same bucket because they both help grow a business.

But they play very different roles.

Think of your business like a car.

Marketing is the gas in the tank. It’s what gets your business moving. Ads, social media, email campaigns, SEO, events, and promotions all help you reach more people.

Branding is the car itself—or better yet, the engine. It’s what determines how efficiently all that momentum turns into results.

If your branding is unclear, inconsistent, or doesn’t communicate why you’re different, you can keep pressing the gas and still struggle to get where you want to go. You’ll likely spend more on marketing just to achieve the same results.

But when your brand is strong, every marketing effort works harder. People recognize you faster. They trust you sooner. They remember you longer. Your messaging becomes clearer, and you’re no longer competing on price alone.

That’s why branding isn’t just about having a nice logo. It’s about building the foundation that makes every marketing effort more effective.

So maybe the better question isn’t:

“What’s the ROI of branding?”

It’s:

“How much is weak branding costing my marketing?”

Because branding and marketing aren’t competing investments. They’re partners. And when they’re pulling in the same direction, every marketing dollar has the opportunity to go further.

Everyone wants the secret to growing a business.

Most of the time, it’s not a secret at all.

It’s the repetitive, behind-the-scenes work that doesn’t get many likes:
• Following up when you said you would.
• Tracking the numbers.
• Documenting your processes.
• Building systems before you think you need them.
• Refining how you sell.
• Creating a business that doesn’t rely on one person.

None of it is flashy.
All of it compounds.

The businesses that scale aren’t usually the loudest.

They’re the ones that get remarkably good at doing the unsexy work consistently.
👉 Which one has made the biggest difference in your business?

You don’t build a memorable brand by chasing every trend. You build it by giving people something worth remembering.

Hilary Duff’s recent resurgence isn’t just about nostalgia. It’s about consistency, authenticity, and years of building an emotional connection with an audience.

That’s the lesson.

The brands people can’t stop talking about aren’t always the loudest or the newest. They’re the ones that make people feel something every time they show up.

So before you ask, “How do we go viral?”

Ask:
👉 What do people associate with our brand?
👉 How do we make them feel?
👉 Will they remember us a year from now?

Trends come and go.
A memorable brand lasts.

Save this post for the next time you’re tempted to chase the algorithm instead of building your brand.
