These guys called and claimed that I had ransomware on my machine and that my server was sending them information to that affect. I called him out, asking him to prove this. He hung up on me. Be on the lookup for shady IT support companies.. Seems like this might be a new thing.. They will certainly be reported to the proper authorities.

Windows Users: Another reason you should be using some sort of cloud-based backup system. We suggest businesses using local shared drives take hourly backups (among other strategies) to mitigate data loss.
