To draw users in to share information / to contact your business, it is important to create an effective and user-friendly contact form.
A few tips below can help engage users and help with an easy experience ⤵️
- Add a focus field to indicate reason for contact
- Highlight and explain error if they are missing information or typed something incorrectly (i.e. e-mail address)
- Less is more, ask for less. All you need is their contact information and the reason for their inquiry
- When possible, avoid writing. Use drop down menus or range selection bar
- Single column design (as seen in the photo)
As a designer it is our job to create an effective product that makes the consumers life easy. Creating a form that is simple, to the point and friendly to use, will attract potential clients and be 100% successful in gaining the information required to start the process.
