I will be back OPEN tomorrow, Sept 29th at 9:30am.
Vacation is almost over. It took me almost 3 days to let go of work and just destress. Not even sure what I was worried about but that happens when owning a business. We stayed at 2 places, Eagletown, OK(10 mins from Broken Bow) and Mt Pleasant, Texas. We ate and ate but 3 places really stood out for us. Phat Tabb's BBQ in Idabel, OK, Roma Italian in Idabel, OK and The Cove in Mt Pleasant, TX. We also walked in downtown Idabel. I just love shopping(window) in small towns. Love talking to the local business owners. Then we visited the cemetary in DeKalb, TX where Dan Blocker(Hoss from Bonanza) is buried along with his family. I loved Bonanza. If you love vintage aircrafts and warbirds plus classic cars, trucks etc, you have to visit Mid America Flight Museum at Mt Pleasant, TX. And they all fly and run. Plus it's free to get in. We also manage to take in a bull riding competition in Pittsburg, Texas. Have I mentioned how I love small towns!😁 Its the end of our trip and we are on our way home now. It was a much needed trip to de stress and get ready for the 4th Quarter and the Christmas season. Lots of surprises and toys coming and I hope that you will remember my store when shopping for Christmas and birthday gifts this year!
