A “Gramsci a fumetti”
Una storia vera, quella illustrata da Loredana Atzei. Era il 13 aprile 1919. La Brigata Sassari sfila per la città di Torino festante, ma non era lì per caso. Si prospetta uno sciopero generale e pensavano di usare il meglio dell’esercito italiano, composto da sardi, per tenere a bada gli operai. Ma a Torino si trova anche Antonio Gramsci che si rifiuta di credere ed accettare che i suoi conterranei possano essere usati in una maniera così ignobile. Fa contattare i soldati, ci parla e li convince che gli operai sono persone, spesso sarde pure loro, sfruttate e povere: i nemici sono altri. Un lavoro lungo ma efficace. Il generale si reca dal prefetto e gli comunica che i soldati della Brigata Sassari non spareranno sulla folla degli operai durante lo sciopero: l’obbedienza e la fedeltà cieca davanti a certi ordini, sono caratteristiche dei cani non dei soldati della Brigata Sassari. La Brigata venne così spostata da Torino e non ci fu spargimento di sangue durante lo sciopero, grazie al lavoro di Antonio Gramsci.
