January is continuing to get refinements...
One of the things I've always disliked about websites is how difficult companies make it to leave.
You build a site in WordPress, Wix, Webflow, GoHighLevel, Joomla, or some custom system and over time the platform itself becomes part of the problem and doesn't fully integrate into your core business.
Plugins. Builders. Updates. Compatibility issues. Proprietary layouts. Bloated markup. And sometimes simply moving your own content somewhere else becomes a project.
So, we're working on something different for the January 2027 release of Brilliance One not only for ourselves but every business owner as well. Partly, because we need it for our Fi****ms and eCommerce capabilities being added.
CMS Migration to Brilliance One
* The idea is pretty simple.
* Give Brilliance the public URL of your website.
* No WordPress or other system administrator account required.
* Yes, you'll be able to use the WordPress Export option too!
Brilliance will analyze the publicly available website, identify its pages and structure, and begin rebuilding that content inside the Brilliance One CMS.
We're initially building around migrations from:
WordPress • GoHighLevel • Wix • Webflow • Joomla • Static HTML • Custom-coded websites
And with WordPress, we're going deeper than just standard sites. Our goal includes recognizing sites built with major builders such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, Gutenberg, and others, including WooCommerce information.
But here's the part I like most.
We're not migrating the old platform's baggage.
The resulting Brilliance website is rebuilt as clean HTML using Tailwind CSS as its framework with no other requirements. We know it won't be perfect, but we'll have tested it with over 70 of our live customers that have volunteered for the migration.
Just clean, modern website code managed through Brilliance One.
And because the website is moving into the Brilliance ecosystem, we're not simply copying everything exactly as the old platform handled it.
SEO, META and Open Graph information use the SEO capabilities already built into Brilliance One that helps you get into AI Search without paying extra for it.
Forms are rebuilt using native Brilliance forms so they can ultimately connect directly with Accounts, Leads, Communications, Projects, Tasks, and Automations.
FAQs are rebuilt using the native Brilliance FAQ component rather than carrying over another platform's proprietary implementation and has the SEO optimized markups to further win at SEO.
Media moves into Brilliance's media system.
Custom themes remain completely possible. Moving to Brilliance doesn't mean every website suddenly looks the same. That would be horrible!
Quite the opposite. We see an entire method where one or more companies will spawn and be selling them from our default themes which include fully customizable icons.
The goal is to preserve the identity of the business while getting rid of the unnecessary technology underneath it.
And this is an important distinction:
* We're not trying to build a website cloner.
* We're building a migration and modernization system.
* The original website provides the content, structure and visual direction.
* Brilliance provides the new foundation.
There will absolutely be things that still require human review. Especially forms, custom functionality and unusual components. I'm not interested in pretending an automated migration system can perfectly understand every website ever created.
But if we can automate 80%, 90%, or eventually 95%+ of what previously required hours or days of manual rebuilding, that's a tremendous win.
And once that website and blogs are inside Brilliance, it isn't sitting by itself anymore.
It's connected to a native CRM + ERP system built to run your business.
That's ultimately what we're building.
Not another website builder.
A Business Operating System where the website is actually part of the business.
2027 is going to be our greatest year and you're going to be part of it!
