Sometimes a simple act of kindness comes back around in the best way.
Back in June, during the Hot Rod Power Tour, some folks from Cowpasture Creations came through Cuba, Missouri. We had the opportunity to meet them, talk about what we do, and give them a little Route 66 Cuba keychain to remember Cuba by.
We honestly didn't think much more about it.
Then, completely unexpectedly, they found us online, talked to us a little bit, and sent us a package! Inside was an incredible letter, a custom keychain they made representing their area, a Hot rod Power Tour keychain, and a Hot Rod hat for our son.
The letter they sent absolutely made our day. They told us how much that little keychain has become a part of their Hot Rod Power Tour truck and how it has traveled with them to shows all over the country.
This is exactly why we love what we do. It's not always about making a sale. Sometimes it's about meeting people, making connections, sharing a little piece of our town, and becoming part of someone's story.
Ben and Taylor, thank you so much for thinking of us and for returning the kindness. We truly appreciate every single thing you sent.
We hope to see you guys back through Cuba again someday! And if we're ever headed your way, you better believe we're stopping to say hello!
