This PS5 Slim came in completely shorted out after liquid metal leaked onto the motherboard.

After a full board-level diagnosis, we located the affected area, cleaned up the leaked liquid metal, repaired the short, and got the console working again!

This motherboard came in with the 3.5V and 5V power rails shorted, preventing the board from powering properly.

We diagnosed the short down to a faulty IC that was pulling the rails down. After replacing the failed component, both power rails were restored and the motherboard is working again!
