Reveal 2.2 is out now, and it changes what users can do once they find something in their data.

What shipped:

✔️ Chart annotations: anchor a note to a point, a category, or a range. It saves with the dashboard, so everyone who opens it sees the same context in the same place.

✔️ Hyperlink columns: turn any Grid, Pivot, Sparkline, or DataGrid row into a link built from that row's own data, with relative URLs now first-class in the Web client.

✔️ The new DataGrid is now the default: interactive filtering, column pinning and summaries, and better rendering performance, with no dashboard changes needed.

✔️ Tooltip redesign is out of beta: a large batch of positioning and behavior fixes, now on by default across every visualization that shows one.

If your product surfaces data but stops short of letting users act on it, this release is worth a look.

Two days at LDX3 NYC. Here's what stuck with us.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Booth #710. You showed us what you're building and where analytics slows you down, and that's the input that shapes what we ship next.

A few moments we'll remember: Jason Beres took the Solutions Stage and went from a blank app to production-ready embedded analytics in one live demo. Our team held the booth for two straight days of demos and honest build-vs-buy conversations. And the Xbox Series S went home with Luke. Well earned. 🎮

New York, thanks for having us. See you at the next one.

Day two of LDX3 NYC.

It's been two days of back-to-back conversations at Booth #710, and a few themes have come up consistently:

🔹 Teams know they need embedded analytics. The question has shifted from 'should we build it?' to 'how do we make it AI-ready?'

🔹 Data governance is the blocker. Not a lack of interest in AI features, but concern about compliance, tenancy, and auditability when AI enters the analytics layer.

🔹 The build vs. buy conversation has matured. Teams aren't asking if an SDK is faster, they're asking which SDK is still viable two product cycles from now.

If any of this resonates with where your team is, we'd love to continue the conversation. Find us at Booth #710 today, or book time with the team at the link below.

Blank app at 11:00. Production-ready embedded analytics by 11:10.

That was Jason Beres, our COO, on the LDX3 Solutions Stage this morning. A live demo that went from an empty application to embedded analytics running in a real product, in a few lines of code. Natural-language queries, dashboard generation, self-service BI, all inside the app with no context-switching. Straight into the build.

The booth is still open. Come see it up close at Booth #710 on the 5th floor of the North Javits, window side, and get your badge scanned for the Xbox raffle before we close today.

Thanks to everyone who came by the stage this morning.

Reveal Embedded Analytics just won Silver at the Visual Studio Magazine Reader's Choice Awards. Voted by .NET developers.

The award is in the BI, Business Desktop Deployment & BI Development Studio category, at the 2026 edition. That's the 32nd year of one of the longest-running developer community awards in the .NET space.

What makes this one meaningful: it isn't a judging panel. Visual Studio Magazine readers, the .NET developers, architects, and engineering leads who use these tools every day, voted for the ones they actually trust.

Being recognized in that community, for embedded analytics specifically, says something about where the market is headed. BI isn't a standalone destination anymore. It's a component. It belongs inside the product, in the developer's stack, shipped the same way everything else gets shipped.

Thanks to everyone in the community who voted. We're building on it.

Bigger model ≠ better product. For embedded analytics, the SLM-vs-LLM decision drives latency, token cost, governance, and deployment flexibility.

Swipe through the trade-offs:
→ SLMs: fast, cheap, great for frequent, well-scoped analytics queries
→ LLMs: deeper reasoning for open-ended exploration
→ Hybrid: route by intent — most production teams end up here

Reveal lets you bring your own model and control cost per tenant, so the choice stays yours as you scale.

Reveal 2.0 is here.

We rebuilt the Reveal Web SDK from the ground up — so your team can embed analytics into your product without fighting your own toolchain to do it.

🔹 No jQuery. TypeScript-first with full type definitions.
🔹 IIFE and ESM builds — install via CDN or npm
🔹 New connectors for Azure CosmosDB and ClickHouse
🔹 Improved accessibility across the SDK
🔹 Node and Java SDKs at API feature parity with ASP.NET (Preview)

If you evaluated Reveal before and the SDK felt behind your stack — that is no longer the case.

Built to fit your stack. Not the other way around.

May is almost over. Q2 is more than half done.

Question for the product leaders in my network:

What's the ONE analytics thing you wish you'd already shipped to your users by now?

More often than not, the answer we hear is some version of: "A way for users to answer their own questions without asking us."

That's the adoption gap. And it's fixable.

Drop your answer below — genuinely curious what's on your roadmap for Q3.
