The Foundation for Rural Service Foundation for Rural Service Youth Tour is a five-day educational immersion in Washington, D.C., designed for inquisitive and curious high school students from rural communities. Bringing together 100 students nationwide, Youth Tour focuses on legislative and federal agency processes (including how the Federal Communications Commission impacts broadband, radio, and television services) and highlights the critical role of broadband in connecting rural America. Students return home with knowledge of Capitol Hill and the Federal government while also touring historic sites and building connections with peers from different states.
TCT will sponsor a student whose parents or legal guardians are members of the cooperative, in good standing, to attend this yearโ€™s tour.
