The 73’ Ram’s Head Big Fuzz is live and back in stock!

This is a recreation of David Gilmour’s most coveted and used fuzz throughout his career, but also used by other greats like Dinosaur JR and Nirvana.

An amazing fuzz we know you will love!

Going forward with the Civil War this will be its look. The custom Sovtek one’s are cool, but can be troublesome at times and really like how clean this looks.

The site will be updated today, if you ordered one over the weekend and prefer these k***s as well let us know and we’ll make the change.

Also after this run is gone it’s gone for a good amount of time as we want to focus on other BMP drops next year, so if you wanted a Civil War from us this is the time. Axe...and You Shall Receive will be the of the only dealers besides a one other and that will be the last source of this model for a good while.

Nice Saturday afternoon drilling and building. Through-hole components can take longer, but with a good layout they look so nice.

At the moment just our Massif and Big Fuzz’s are completely through hole with the rest about a 50/50 split on TH and SMD. Next year the resistors will probably move over to SMD while the capacitors stay TH as you don’t have that much discernible tone/feel variation with TH and SMD resistors, capacitors matter though imho.

Thank you again for the birthday wishes yesterday and hope you guys enjoy your weekend!

Excited to announce that next week we are bringing back the 73’ Gilmourish Ram’s Head! Just like the Civil War this is a limited drop for this year and will probably do other models next year, so if you have been waiting for one of these this is your chance.

73’ Gilmourish Big Ram Fuzz features:

Film and Ceramic Capacitors, Metal Film Resistors and 2N3904 Transistors.

This model uses Film Capacitors for the larger values and Ceramic for the others for a more modern build on this beautiful classic. Parts during that era were unreliable and out of spec, so using the top shelf grade we use on all of our models makes sure you have a fuzz machine that lasts and stays consistent for years to come.

Raw finish with custom k***s. 🎯

Absolutely love this guitar.

This is my 2019 Dunable Guitars Asteroid that has been a main since I got it, but the hardware is starting to take a toll with my acidic skin so I’ve been thinking of changing it to gold like planned in the beginning but not sure yet. Most certainly have to change the tuners as the tuner buttons are nickel and can’t polish the oxidation away anymore. Pickups right now are Avedissian Pickups

You have a favorite instrument? Which is it?

The Civil War returns for a limited time!

Recreation of the 1991 V7 Civil War, this is an exact build of the Civil War but tighter part standards and top grade components. Based off the Big M*ff Page V7 Civil War Second Edition schematic using Mylar and Ceramic Capacitors, Metal Film Resistors and NPN BC548B Transistors.

Our most asked for Big Fuzz, this model boasts a strong midrange and smooth fuzz qualities that sit amazing in a guitar signal. David Gilmour used the Civil War during the Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour and also during the Division Bell sessions to give you a few ideas on how smooth this fuzz is.
