Here's my son with a water rocket he designed all by himself. I was very impressed. Originally he used cardboard fins, but the water was making them soft even after tried coated them with repellent (got in through the cut edges). So we designed and 3D printed a fin assembly that works fanastic. Father-son projects FTW.

Another great application for custom 3D printed parts. This customer was restoring his '65 Chevelle and discovered the original plastic sliders on the climate control panel had deteriorated. We were able to reverse engineer the broken sliders and print new ones. I love the ideas customers come in with.

Pedometers (the things that count your steps throughout the day) have been around for a long time in different forms. Nowadays our phones are capable of tracking how many steps we take (and many other things as well lol ). For many, fitness devices such as Fitbit watches get that job done.
