Good buddy turned family and owner of Quickcoys Keith Beauchamp came down for a taste of what south texas has to offer. We fished one day on the big pond and one day in The skinny water filling every tag he had and whackin the drum! plenty of oversized trout and reds with a solid school of drum all sight casted.

Hell of a day on the big pond! Our part of the gulf continues to stay red hot! Today makes 31 billfish in the last 17 days between swordfish, blue marlin, white marlin, and sail fish!

9/7-9/10, 9/14-9/16, 9/20-9/21 still available this month offshore, inshore, dove hunting, and bowfishing!

Haven’t been the best at taking pictures the last couple weeks after those 19-20hr work days but fishing continues to be great on the big pond! The last couple weeks brought double digit sword numbers, 6 whites, a few sails, mahi, blackfin tuna, red snapper, vermillion snapper, tilefish, barrels, roseys, and grouper.

Saturday afternoon is available for snapper. Next dates are September 7-10, 14-16, 19, 21-22, 29-30.

The gulf of America in our part of the world is on fire! Hung a good one yesterday that took 3.5 hrs and took us 3.76 miles! To top it off he was a pumpkin! These are by far my favorite fish every fight is different and even though they are 1500’+ weather will put them in different places, and different depths. Getting them dialed in with multiple swords each trip.

Still have September dates available and plenty in October to go cross off a bucket list fish!
