Kiranam Technologies had the opportunity to attend the ElevateIT: Technology Summits Dallas Technology Summit 2026 for the second consecutive year, and just like last year, it was an engaging day filled with insightful discussions around cybersecurity, AI governance, innovation, and leadership.
🌐 As cyber threats continue to evolve at an alarming pace, it was valuable to hear industry leaders discuss how organizations are approaching AI transformation responsibly while ensuring IT and security strategies remain closely aligned with business goals.
💡 One of the insightful sessions, “How CIOs Are Scaling Innovation, Modernization, and Measurable Impact,” featured valuable perspectives from leaders like Benjamin Richard CIO, Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, Trey Smith Global CIO, Discovery Land Company, John Henthorne CIO, DeGolyer and MacNaughton and Ransom Max Horne CIO- Colonial Bank.
🔹 Benjamin Richard: IT strategy should always align with business strategy. Policies and AI governance frameworks are only effective when they are actively implemented, understood, and supported through continuous employee education and training.
🔹 Trey Smith: Technology and AI initiatives should focus on solving real business pain points rather than adopting innovation for the sake of it. His practical approach to balancing business value, governance, and leadership left a strong impression on the audience.
👩💼One of the standout moments of the summit for us was the Women in Technology Leadership Roundtable, moderated by Brandi J., featuring accomplished leaders including Omowunmi Akinyoade, Anitha Dakamarri, Samridhi Agarwal, and Maneeya D.
The panel brought forward honest and impactful conversations around leadership, collaboration, AI governance, and influencing change within organizations. A few themes that strongly resonated with us included:
🔹 Building trust with leadership teams through communication and collaboration
🔹 Balancing rapid AI innovation with responsible governance
🔹 Using storytelling, business language, and data-driven insights to influence decision-making
🔹 Leading through culture, accountability, and community rather than force
🔹 Recognizing the value of time, adaptability, and long-term impact in technology leadership
✨The discussions were thoughtful, practical, and highly relevant to today’s evolving technology landscape. It was inspiring to see strong women leaders openly share their experiences, perspectives, and approaches to driving meaningful impact within their organizations.
👏 A sincere thank you to the organizers for hosting another impactful event. We look forward to carrying these learnings forward as we continue driving innovation and transformation at Kiranam Technologies.
