Today we cleaned up this monstrosity of a visible wire mess. When we originally mounted this TV and Sonos bar for this client, she had told us to just plug everything in on the power strip. 🤮

She contacted us again and explained how her TV was failing and she wanted more bass from her sound. We suggested replacing this 46" with a 55" and adding a Sonos sub (not pictured).

Jokingly, we mentioned that whomever did that install did a really poor job (It was us), and that an outlet should be installed behind the TV to hide everything.

Her response was, "I like how you're thinking!"

Needless to say, we aim to please. Drilled a small hole, used the scope to see behind the wall before cutting a huge chunk of drywall out, found out it was going to work. We then installed the white utility box behind the TV and installed an outlet inside of that box. Everything is now clean and hidden. She loves it.

Had the opportunity to install this Univision Dual Camera PTZ unit. Customer wanted it on the peak of their roof. They supplied everything; mount, gooseneck, camera and cable. This camera is sick. 4MP with 25x zoom. In the one photo, it’s a picture of a tall building 3 blocks away. In the next, it’s full zoom. The night vision is great on this as well. Minus the extreme heat on install day, this was a fun project.

When your customer's landscaper blindly runs their edger, doesn't read the multiple signs on the service boxes that say "Call before digging" and the customer runs their both of their businesses from home, you do a down and dirty repair from the service box to the house since the ISP cannot get there until Tuesday. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Recently, we've been working on a project for a horse rescue farm for the wonderful people to be able to keep an eye on their rescues throughout the day. Running cable for this project was not practical plus the owner originally had Google Nest cameras already in place.

The prior installer had run a basic cat53 riser cable on the exterior of the home, then across the fences, and underground in many places. The customer had been concerned about the wires being brittle and intermittent. We remedied that with the point to point wireless bridge to the barn originally.

They then called us back and asked for a new access point for the barn because the far cameras kept dropping. So, we surprised the customer by going above and beyond by supplying them with an exterior Ubiquiti U6 Mesh with 1500' range capability. Now the customer is requesting more cameras. 🤘🏻😆
