I bought an unused server PC wanting to try it out for myself and see what I can do with it. Little did I know, when this was bought new it was specced to come with no operating system at all. So for that reason, I did what I knew how to do. I added an SSD, a GPU and installed Windows 11 so now this server plays games on a budget.

I was waiting for a motherboard that could support the 5 blue led fans in this case and here it is. Its not a high end PC but all of the blue lights really put a good shine on this budget build with a Ryzen 5 2600X and a GTX 970.

It's not much but this little office PC got an upgrade and is now fit for some basic gaming. Adding ram, a SSD and a GTX 950 really gave new life into what was a retired computer.

I'm always excited to take on projects, whether it's for gaming or not. This workstation with an i5-13500 is crazy quiet for a system with 14 cores in a sff case. I've eyed up this case in the past and now know I need to order another for myself.

The Metallicgear Neo G was an easy case to build in that felt just as easy as the Phantek P400. The glass front wasn't too restrictive and looked great with the RGB fans inside. The Ryzen 7 3700X and RX 6700 XT are sitting comfortably inside.

I got started with older 2nd gen Intel Dell optiplexes because they were so upgradable with standard parts. While this one isn't quite as friendly, it was still fun to open it up and see what the options were. The GTX 1650 worked well with the i5-7500 and made an awesome entry level PC.

A little upgrade makes a wild difference. The old GTX 1650 and 8gb of ram made a decent entry level PC. Upgrading to a GTX 1660 Super and 16gb of dual channel ram allowed for a huge jump in performance and this PC is better off for that.

This Enermax case ended up making the build look pretty sharp. The color of the fans attract attention to what was otherwise a simplistic build.

Sometimes the most exciting part about computers for me tends to be the case. The name of this case, SAMA Sama-3D, made me question it but that luckily was the only thing I didn't like. Easy build experience, lovely lighting from the front and fan and overall a clean looking build.

I was saving this vibrant case for a while afraid it wouldn't turn out well and I'm so happy I was wrong. The colors pop so well with just a bit of lighting and I could be happier!
