I’m back in town after a huge project out in Bozeman, MT last week! Worked with Midwest Sound and Vision on a network/AV install. Full Ubiquiti network with Starlink Internet, using the Dream Machine Pro router, 48 port POE switch, and U7 access points. Great coverage from corner to corner, and the deck as well. Four Ubiquiti G6 4k cameras and doorbell keep an eye on the property. Along with the network, a Control4 automation system runs the three Sony Bravia 8 series TVs with Apple TV 4K streaming boxes, plus 10 zones of whole home audio for TV sound and music. Got it all done in three days, with two days of driving there and back. Time for a nap!!

What kind of projects have I been doing lately? Well today was a TV installation kind of day! My client bought a lake home last year, feeling out how the lake life fits their family. They love it, and wanted new TVs and WiFi throughout the house. I installed a 50” in the porch, with a pivot mount that pulls out from the wall. The living room fireplace got a 65” LG. That was quite the job, as this fireplace was real stonework, not a thin fake wall. Tap-Con bolts to the rescue! Lots of measuring, and that TV couldn’t be more level. Unfortunately we can’t have an outlet behind it because of that THICK stone wall, but it looks amazing anyways! Both TVs have new Apple TVs running the show, with DIRECTV stream as well as their other subscriptions to watch. Top notch video 4k HDR quality and lots of speed! No slow built-in SmartTV apps here!
