A little business update that I’m really grateful to share…

Barlow & Studio is officially booked for June, and we’re now welcoming July projects.

If you’re new around here, hi! I’m Kacie, and I started Barlow & Studio because I genuinely love helping small businesses grow. As an entrepreneur, I’ve experienced firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to wear every hat in your business.

Over the last few months, I’ve realized that what I love most isn’t just building websites or working on SEO.

I love helping businesses find clarity.

Most businesses don’t actually have a branding problem.

And most of the time, it’s not even a “website issue” either.

It’s more that everything online just isn’t working together in a clear way.

When someone finds your business, they’re making a decision in seconds based on things like how it looks, how easy it is to understand what you do, and whether it feels trustworthy or not.

And if any of that feels a little off, they usually just move on.

That’s kind of where I’ve been focusing my work lately, especially working alongside my branding + photography partner.

Because business growth isn’t just a nice logo or pretty photos or a decent website.

It’s all of it feeling like the same business.

When it does, everything just feels more solid. More trustworthy. Easier to choose.

If your website hasn’t been updated in 2+ years, Google probably doesn’t trust it anymore… and that directly affects whether people can even find you online.

Search engines are not just looking for whether you have a website. They’re looking for whether it’s active, relevant, and maintained.

When a site sits untouched for years, a few things start to happen…

•Your rankings slowly drop because newer, more active sites are being prioritized.
