I'm a surface pattern designer that specializes in patterns for fabric and home goods. My pattern designs are inspired by everyday moments and memories.

Nestled in the Youghiogheny River valley, Youghiogheny Yarns is the creation of husband and wife team, Todd & Keri Fosbrink. Both were raised in southwestern Pennsylvania and have strong family ties here. Keri is an avid knitter and crocheter who has dabbled with various types of hand dying over the years. She comes from a long line of hand crafters. Her love of handmade items and inspiring colorways is what prompted them to start Youghiogheny Yarns. Color is everywhere in the Youghiogheny valley no matter the season, and Youghiogheny Yarns wants to help you bring some of that color into your life and projects. Punkin’ Patch was inspired by trips to the pumpkin patch on crisp autumn days to select the perfect pumpkins to decorate our porch. It's designed to feel joyful, nostalgic, and playful. I see it living on fabric, gift wrap, and apparel.

Our gardens are a riot of colorful blooms and a variety of pollinators of all shapes and sizes. My collection, In the Garden, was inspired by the abundance of nature I enjoy seeing there. It's designed to feel romantic, lush and serene.

There are 8 patterns in the collection. Each pattern has been done in 2 colorways. I see these patterns living on quilting fabrics, home goods, and apparel fabrics.

There is something so satisfying about seeing a collection you've been working on for months come together. I'll be sharing more of the patterns soon.

It's design contest season! I'm entering this deign in the .coil 2026 Limited Edition Design Contest. How amazing would this planner be?!? Wouldn't you love to have your own rose garden on your desk every day?

I created these hand drawn roses and peonies in honor of my mom. Roses were her favorite flower and pink was her favorite color. Wish me luck!

This week has been filled with camping, kayaking, hiking, and more kayaking. Cell coverage is horrible in the mountains, so posting is difficult. I've collected lots if ideas for a new collectio . Now it's time to head home and start creating.

I spent some time playing with a new technique and different medium this week. It was fun and freeing - no perfectionism in sight. Might not be everyone's style but I like the results.

It started with a group of vectorized drawings. I arranged and grouped them until they looked right. Then I added a background, texturized the edges, and voila! A new placement print that will be part of a new collection!

Yesterday we took a trip to Wonderland at the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. So many amazing displays and beautiful flowers! 💐

If you're in Pittsburgh, I highly recommend a trip. The entire place is filled with inspiration for every type of artist and gardener.
