Administrative Assistant. Full time temp to Perm- Concord NH
Immediate Need-
• Answer telephone phone in a professional polite manner that makes people glad they called. Also conveys messages, and monitors the flow of job related information. Works in cooperation with other administrative personnel to cover phones.
• Able to answer routine product questions and directs questions to appropriate personnel when necessary
• Performs trade show follow up to assure timely delivery of literature and samples.
• Data entry to track the delivery of sales literature, product samples and other necessary services to customers as directed by the sales staff or management.
• Performs desktop publishing. Creating and developing visual presentations for the President and other members of the sales department. Also aids the Vice President in maintaining Web Site content.
• Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing system for the President and the department. Retrieves information from files when needed. Establishes, develops, maintains and updates library of trade journals and magazines.
• Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls.
• Sorts and distributes mail.
• Drafts written responses or replies by phone or e-mail when necessary. Responds to regularly occurring requests for information. .
• Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies.
• Can handle confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary.
• Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
• Performs certain accounting functions as it pertains to the processing of job deposits.
• Some working knowledge of QuickBooks would be helpful. As this individual will enter credit card receipts in QuickBooks.
• Perform clerical duties as requested.
• Assist all departments as directed by supervisor Learn the entire product line so general questions can be answered without involving the outside salespeople. Must have strong working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
• Non- smoking Office
Must be a team player but can also work alone when necessary.
Hours are Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm
Must have reliable transportation and a non-smoker.
Pre-Employment Drug Test and Criminal Background check required.
Pay is $15-$16/hr DOE Client will decide.
