I don’t generally think of illustration as one of my strong suits, but I was happy with how this turned out. I tend to do well with recreating realism, and am really proud of my birds.

I recently returned home after two months in England. My time there was a bit of a test to see if I would like the solo digital nomad lifestyle and slower travel while living and working.

I learned that I still love Europe. I love the beauty, convenience of transport, proximity of everything, and the overall lifestyle. I enjoy slow travel, but after a while, just like to have a routine and normalcy.
———
It was weird to be in a foreign country where everyone spoke English 😂, but the people I met were nice and lovely. I enjoyed England a lot, but still want to live somewhere warm. I’m sure I’ll be posting more pictures for you to enjoy in the future. And I absolutely loved London!

After taking my Photoshop class, I really enjoyed it and wanted to learn more. My professor suggested I check out Adobe's daily Photoshop challenge. Here's my distressed and vintage portrait with a 90s vibe.

Diving in and really learning how to use Photoshop this fall has been great. This is my final project from the course I took. It had to included 14 images and 6 different skills. I’m very happy with how my poster turned out.

This project was a big one for me. It is by far the most extensive project I have worked on to date. I worked with a company to create a report of all of their achievements for the last year. I created the overall look and made countless graphs, infographics, and visualizations. Over 100 pages, 3 months, and a whole lot of hours...this is a piece I am very proud of.

I am taking a Photoshop class right now to grow my graphic design skillset. I am learning a lot and really enjoying getting to know a program that I didn't really know how to use.

One recent project was to create a promotional poster using certain skills I had learned. I created a poster for the USA Soccer game that was to take place in Columbus. I couldn't resist using Christian Pulisic as my feature player and showing him in his full Captain America glory (Captain America is his nickname). I'm really happy with how this poster turned out and am looking forward to learning more and growing my Photoshop skills.

Recently, I decided to sign up for a graphic design course to decide if I want to go back to school to get a certificate. While I currently do graphic design, I have a rather narrow skillset that I want to widen. My intro course covered some of the basics of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I am not very skilled in Photoshop, and learned quite a few new skills. Below is an advertisement that I made in Photoshop for a kayak company's sale as well as the original photograph.
