Friends, before we head into the weekend, let’s run it back! 😎

CliQ in on the highlights and tell us: What’s one word that describes your Virtual MentorCom experience? 😁

Great nursing care starts with great connections. 💜

Behind every thriving nursing team are people who share knowledge, support one another, and help the next generation of leaders grow.

That’s why mentorship matters.

At MentorcliQ, we believe meaningful mentoring relationships can help nursing organizations strengthen leadership development, connect generations of talent, and build a culture where people feel supported in their growth.

We’re excited to be part of the 2026 Magnet & Pathway Conference® in Chicago, October 29–31!

CliQ In with Manuel Hernandez at Booth 125 to talk about how mentoring and community can help strengthen the people and connections behind nursing excellence.

What role has a mentor played in your professional journey?
We’d love to hear your story, friend. 😁

What if one of the most important employee retention strategies isn’t another perk but a stronger sense of connection?

When budgets tighten, investing in people can feel like a challenge. 🤔

But employees still want opportunities to grow, meaningful relationships, and a reason to see their future with your organization.

Mentoring and community helps turn those needs into meaningful connections that support development, engagement, and retention.

Because a people-first strategy isn’t separate from business success.
It’s part of it, friend. 😁

The career ladder is getting a little… complicated.
It used to be:
Learn
Perform
Get promoted
and Repeat

Now?
People want to build skills, explore new opportunities, find mentors, expand their networks, move across teams, and figure out what they actually want to do next. 🪴

Basically, the career ladder got a software update. 😎

For HR and talent leaders, that creates an opportunity:
Stop thinking only about how to retain people.
Start thinking about how to help them see a future inside the organization.

Internal mobility + mentoring + career development can turn:
“Where do I go next?” into: “I can see myself growing here.”
And that's a very different employee experience. 😉

What do you think is most important to helping employees see a future inside their organization?
We’ve been thinking about this through the lens of internal mobility, career development, and mentoring.

CliQ In on a resource if you’re thinking about it, too: https://www.mentorcliq.com/blog/what-is-internal-mobility?utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=organic-social&utm_source=meta&utm_medium=organic-social

The skills employees need today won't necessarily be the skills they'll need tomorrow.
So how do organizations keep their people ready for what's next?🤔

Training matters.
But upskilling can't stop when the course ends.

Employees need opportunities to practice new skills, ask questions, exchange knowledge, learn from experience, and connect what they're learning to their careers.😎

That's where mentoring can become a powerful part of a talent development strategy.

Because when people learn from people, skills move from theory to practice.
And when learning becomes an ongoing part of the employee experience, organizations aren't just closing today's skills gaps, they're building a workforce that's better prepared for tomorrow.

The future of work isn't just about having the right skills. It's about creating a culture where people can keep building them.😁

What does that look like in practice? We took a closer look at the role mentoring can play in building a workforce that’s ready for what’s next: https://www.mentorcliq.com/blog/mentoring-in-the-era-of-upskilling?utm_source=meta&utm_medium=organic-social

AI skills are becoming essential.
But learning how to use AI is only part of the equation.

The bigger question for organizations is:
How do we help people build the confidence, judgment, and real-world skills to use AI effectively? 🤔

Courses can teach the tools.
Mentoring creates space to ask questions, share experiences, learn from others, and turn knowledge into practice.

As AI continues to reshape the workplace, the organizations that invest in both technology AND people will be better positioned for what comes next.

"CliQ In" and explore how training, mentoring, and continuous learning can work together to build a more AI-ready workforce : https://www.mentorcliq.com/blog/how-to-upskill-in-ai?utm_source=meta&utm_medium=organic-social

What happens when technology keeps getting smarter, but the workplace still comes down to people?
That’s the conversation we’re having tomorrow, friends. 😉

Join us for Virtual MentorCom: The Human Advantage as we hear real stories and insights from CalOptima, Avangrid and Delivery Hero.

We’ll explore what happens when organizations put human connection, mentoring, community, leadership, and development at the center of how people grow. 🪴

Because the future of work isn’t just about what technology can do.
It’s also about what people can do for each other.

If you’ve been thinking about how to build stronger connections and help people grow in a rapidly changing workplace, this is a conversation you’ll want to be part of our special event tomorrow.

🎉 Tomorrow is the day! If this conversation resonates to the work you’re doing, come CliQ with us, friend. 😁

AI can write the first draft.
AI can summarize the meeting.
AI can help us find information in seconds.
But there’s still one thing AI can’t replace...The person who says,
“I’ve been through this before. Let me help.” 😁
And honestly, that feels pretty important right now.

As organizations race to build AI skills, close skills gaps, and rethink how people learn and grow, it can be easy to focus so heavily on the technology that we forget about the human side of development.

People still need someone to ask questions.
Someone to share experience.
Someone to challenge their thinking.
Someone who can say, “Here’s what I wish I knew when I was in your shoes.”
That’s where mentoring continues to matter. 😎

Because sometimes the most valuable CliQ isn’t a technology.
It’s a connection. 💜

The future of work may be increasingly powered by AI.
But the future of people development still needs people.
We’ll be talking about that and a whole lot more at Virtual MentorCom next week.

Until then, what’s one thing you’ve learned from another person that you couldn’t have learned from a screen? 🤔
