Print School: made something with AI? Here's your quick print-ready checklist. ✅🖨️

We love seeing what you create, and a few small steps will make sure it looks just as good on paper as it does on your screen:

✔️ Use high resolution, so it stays crisp when we size it up
✔️ Check your text and spelling, since AI loves to sneak in a typo
✔️ Convert your colors to CMYK; that's printer ink, not screen light
✔️ Save it as a PDF to lock everything in place

One more thing worth knowing: AI images can be tricky to claim as fully your own, which matters if it's becoming your logo or brand look. If that's the goal, we can help you turn the idea into artwork you truly own.

Not sure about any of it? Send it our way, and we'll check it for free. 👉 proprintohio.com/contact

Plan ahead. Print smart. Finish strong. 🎁

We know it's barely fall, but the businesses that own the holidays are the ones planning right now. Think holiday cards, postcards and direct mail, 2027 calendars, gift certificates, event flyers, and seasonal signage.

Getting your designs in early means no rush fees, no last-minute stress, and plenty of time to make it perfect. The sooner you plan, the better we can help.

Want to map out your Q4 printing together? We're always happy to help a fellow local business finish the year strong. 👉 proprintohio.com/quote

Print School: ever notice your printed colors look a little different than they did on your screen? 🎨

Here's the why, and it trips up almost everyone. Screens create color with light (RGB), so they can glow in super bright, vivid tones. Printing creates color with ink (CMYK), which mixes differently. So that electric blue or neon green on your monitor can land a touch softer on paper. It's not a mistake, it's just how light and ink work.

The good news? We proof your colors and get them as close as possible to what you're picturing, and we can match brand colors when it really counts.

Send us your file and we'll dial it in together. proprintohio.com/contact

Print School: why does AI keep misspelling things?

If you have ever asked an AI to make a flyer and gotten words like 'GRAND OPENNIG' or letters that melt into nonsense, you are not imagining it.

AI tools are great at images, but they build text as part of a picture rather than typing real, readable letters. That is why headlines come out garbled, and why they are tough to edit later.

For anything with words on it (signs, menus, invitations, business cards), real typeset text keeps everything crisp, correct, and easy to update.

Bring us your AI concept, and we will rebuild the design and text so it is clean and print-ready.

Print School: that AI image looks amazing on your phone... so why does it look fuzzy on a banner?

Here is the deal, and we promise we love that you are making your own art.

Most AI images are created at a small, screen-sized resolution. On a phone, that looks crisp. But blow it up to a yard sign or a 6-foot banner and those same pixels get stretched thin, which is where the blur and jagged edges creep in.

For big print, we look for high resolution (around 300 DPI at the final size) or artwork built to scale cleanly.

If you have an AI image you love, send it over and we will tell you honestly how large we can print it before it starts to suffer. No charge to ask.
