We’re kicking off an exciting new chapter at MapleTronics with a leadership transition designed to support our long-term growth and big-picture vision.
As of August 1, Jon Morningstar has stepped into the role of CEO. After serving as President, Jon will now focus on big-picture strategy, long-term planning, and the continued development of our amazing team.

Stepping into the role of President is Adam Herschberger, formerly our Chief Revenue Officer. Adam will take the lead on daily operations and keep things moving forward with energy, focus, and a deep connection to our mission—he’s been part of the MapleTronics story since day one.

“This is about building a leadership structure that’s scalable, sustainable, and future-focused,” said Jon Morningstar. “We’re continuing to invest in the development of our team and leadership pipeline so MapleTronics stays innovative, relevant, and ready for what’s next.”

“It’s an honor to help lead a company that means so much to me,” added Adam Herschberger. “I’m energized by our incredible team and excited about the opportunities ahead. Our industry is constantly evolving—and MapleTronics is ready to keep moving forward, with new ideas, new leaders, and the same commitment to excellence.”

This transition is about more than titles—it’s about building a strong foundation for the future while staying true to who we are.

A massive data breach has exposed 16 billion login credentials, making it the largest leak of its kind. The data, sourced mainly from infostealer malware, includes access to platforms like Google, Facebook, and Apple. The leak spans 30+ datasets, many of which are recent and weaponizable. While there's no centralized breach, the data enables identity theft, phishing, and account takeovers.

Takeaway:
If you haven’t already—change your passwords, enable multi-factor authentication, and use a password manager. Even if your account wasn't directly hit, the risk of exploitation is higher than ever.
