Big first day over here at the Hostettler house!

Paityn is off on a BIG new adventure—heading to public middle school and, for the first time, not going to CCCS with the rest of us.

Grant is officially starting his middle school era as a 6th grader… which I’m pretty sure happened approximately five minutes after he started kindergarten.

And Rylee is headed into 4th grade!

Three kids. Three new chapters. And one mom who is absolutely NOT okay with how fast this is all going. 😭

I’m excited for them. I’m praying over them. I know they’re ready.

But man… I am so sad summer is over.

The older they get, the more I realize how quickly these seasons come and go. The summers feel shorter, the backpacks get bigger, and somehow these babies just keep growing up.

Lord, give them confidence, good friends, kind teachers, and the courage to be exactly who You created them to be.

And maybe, just maybe… make time slow down a little for their mama. 🥹

Here’s to a BIG year, Hostettler kids. I love you more than you’ll ever know.

You have about two seconds to give someone a reason to stop scrolling and “Hey guys!” probably isn’t gonna do it. 😂

A strong hook creates curiosity, calls out a problem, or makes your person think: WAIT… she’s talking to me.

So before you blame the algorithm, give your hooks a little ✨personality✨.

And if coming up with them makes you want to throw your phone across the room, I already did the work for you.

We celebrated our anniversary at The Herondale Hotel in Astoria and I’m still thinking about it.

Every detail was intentional — the robes, the design, vortex binoculars in every room, and a hot tub + sauna with a view that made it nearly impossible to leave.
