*VOTERS CLUB OF NIGERIA* ( *National Secretariat, Abuja)* *NATIONAL IDEOLOGY RELOADED* *APRIL , 2022* *(REEDITED AUGUST, 2022.)* VCN is a non partisan national club for Nigeria compatriots. We are not politically inclined but panacea in our country Nigeria. An association birthed out of passion for an egalitarian ,a true democratic society and good governance through all inclusive ideology. VCN does not belong to any individual or a political party, but a social group that consists of activists and electorates who are concerned about national , states LGAs and wards level grassroot democratic processes. We are highly motivated to effect the desirable change through our bulk/block votes. VCN consists of men and women uncompromising integrity and sharing the same vision, believe in the same democratic tenets and desire to mutate our political thinking positively by electing credible candidates into strata of power at all levels. Our primary objective is to mobilize citizens to nominate, register , participate , collect their PVCs and sensitize citizens to join voters club in any state they wish to cast their vote. To create voters awareness about every candidate and to break the jinx of citizens with interior motive to vote for parties instead of credible individuals. We encourage people to vote not just for our choice of candidates but candidates they find effortlessly credible. Voters Club of Nigeria membership in 2015 rose to an aggregate number of 23,000,000 after public sensitisation campaign program in all the 36 states and FCT Abuja of Nigeria. As a policy and core value , VCN bulk/block votes vary but base on the category of the contest and contestant respectively. The bulk/block votes earmarked for the candidates now and not the party in the general election worth over 25,000,000 votes of our registered or PVC carrier members across board. Come with VCN in the struggle to educate our youths on how best to revolutionise leadership and for the emasipation democratic awareness campaign. Thereafter, the general elections from the reports gathered and from analysis the low voters turnout during subsequent elections is negatively affecting the quality of governance. Therefore with Voters Club of Nigeria, more citizens will not only register but will vote in the up coming 2023 general elections. Our salient but powerful campaign both online and offline have yielded unprecedented results. According to INEC, more than 100million Nigerians registered to vote ,more physical registration centres have been created ,including INEC online registration centres . We are intensifying our campaign for PVC collection. INEC has also put proactive step to increase number of electorates through the 2022 PVC exercise nationwide. We are using this medium to persuade to all those who were captured or renewed thier PVC for one reason or the other to ensure that they get thier new PVC on or before end of October or as directed with thier PVC accredited slips issued at INEC designated centres. Perhaps ,the recently confirmed direct primaries for all the political parties of Nigeria was firstly proposed and passed by VCN to the National Assembly in an in house constitutional amendment of the hallow chambers of the Senate in 2019. VCN tracks and files of achievements embodies the just introduced POS empowerment scheme of the FG. VCN in the bid to mobilise and scout for members nationwide adopted a socioeconomic strategy and partnership with ACCESS BANK PLC nation wide to empower the aged and youths at the grassroot. In Voters Club of Nigeria, we will vote for individuals not party. Only good men & women will give good governance not party. Interestingly, voters club of Nigeria is recognized by National Orientation Agency NOA as collaborator in terms of voters education advocacy and sensitization . The implication is that VCN has the backing of NOA to collectively campaign against electoral violence , money bag politics , multiple votes , thuggery amongst others. VCN,always and has created awareness in terms of being the pillar and most organized association with stronger mechanism of neighbour to neighbour , house to house voters education (ITINERANT CAMPAIGN) . Please , note that ! VCN campaign for political party is sacrosanct and based on the merit of grassroot politicians/aspirants. *Since 2015 our motto and mission statement is WE ARE THE PEOPLE 👥👥 AND WE OWN THE POWER 💪 💪!* The power to vote in the millennium belongs to an organised association/club as VCN. The organization and mobilization of voters/electorates nationwide has moved from what it used to be to a more organized movement,(VCN). The apparatus and platforms have been installed and well coordinated but standing by for the next command and chains of parade through the State coordinators. It is worth mentioning that VCN has 36,000 coordinators ranging from National, Senatorial, Federal Constituencies and electoral Wards. Then each Ward is organized into units and ward coordinators who are assigned to specific numbers of electorates according to areas for monitoring and voting conformity during elections. This method was tested and proven to be effective during 2019 General elections. We are ready to perfect the method for 2023 General elections. VCN is not only active during General elections. We are also part of the processes of nomination , selections and primaries elections. Many of VCN members are/were delegates in their various political parties. Hence they vote in accordance with VCN core values and ideology . VCN is posed to administer significant roles at the pre and post political parties primary elections in conjunction with NOA. *Below are the immediate benefits of collaboration and while a lot of politicians or party candidates are running to VCN for bulk/block votes.* 1.VCN of 2019 constitutes 20.5% of the national electorates. Surprisingly ,recently statistics of such related research confirmed a geometric growth to 30.6% of the national population. 😲 2. VCN is the only voters club on the INEC training list of observers in 2019. Most notable was the one held for the governorship election at Confluence Motel Adankolo , Lokoja; Kogi State. Most of our members were dispatched to observe elections at the rural areas. Proudly our reports at collation centres were said to be credible. Kudos ! 3. The most sophisticated association in terms of canvassing for the best and credible candidates to follow. 4. VCN can defend a democratic processes and candidates against any money bag politicians. 5. On adoption by NOA , VCN saliently gained tentacles amongst the youths and the aged/women who always ready to exercise thier civic rights. 6. VCN has standing tradition and policy to objectively sensitize and campaign for credible candidate without his/her poster. We have done it on jingle , fields , visual nonvisual media platforms. 7. The VCN nation wide neighbour to neighbour ,house to house,door to door , electorate to electorate can only be executed perfectly by our originality. More up front...............
